MY SANTA FE - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By IZZY - October 7 - 2:00 amTHE DRIVERS SEAT COULD BE A BIT MORE ROOMY AND MORE LEG ROOM. IF I HAVE A BEVERAGE IN THE CUP HOLDER MY RIGHT KNEE IS RIGHT UP AGAINST THE MUG OR BOTTLE. ALSO THE RADIO DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH BASS.THE SOUND COULD BE MUCH MORE FULLER, ESPECIALLY SINCE ITS CALLED "MONSOON".

comfort and accelleration - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By 4lifR8R - September 26 - 10:00 amI was very impressed by this vehicle for the short time I was able to drive it. The comfort and space is awesome. At first glance it looks tiny but it is only an illusion. The space and comfort rival those german high dollar vehicles and the performance is just as awesome. The accelleration is the best of all. I zipped around the Los Angeles area as if I were in an indy car. Hats off to Hyundai.

2004 hyundai Sante Fe paint problems - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By lorie920 - September 23 - 11:04 amI bought it new in 2004. It has plenty of room for passengers and plenty of cargo room. The car has great power on take off. The biggest issue I have is they use bad paint. These hyundais are peeling and fading. This in itself is why I wont buy the new 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe.

A Great Vehicle - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By HyScott - February 12 - 5:03 amI do owe this car a hand. It has been a really great economical and reliable car. We have always had either European luxury cars or GM SUVs so this car had a lot against it to impress me. This was my first car and definitely not my last Hyundai. They handle VERY well and are extremely easy to drive and operate. The interior is bland but has some accents that set it above GM and Toyota. All of the V6 Santas have leather wrapped steering wheels and gear selectors, many other marks dont. The sound system is surprisingly good and will blow away any base system on other marks. The manual mode on the transmission is GREAT, and I love how they went the extra mile on it.

Good but could be better - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By rland - December 22 - 6:30 pmThe Santa Fe sold me as soon as I drove it on the test drive. For the most part, I like it, although the cloth seats can become uncomfortable on long trips. Also a bit of an aggravating buzzing noise coming from somewhere around the drivers door. Some hesistation after putting it in park or neutral then putting it back into gear. I am disappointed in the gas milage. No where near what I was expecting. But other than that, it is a great vehicle.

Impressive Hyundai - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By rondo - December 8 - 5:53 pmIt made sense to buy a Santa Fe. Gas mileage was ok, there were alot of options for a low price and warranty was better then most other similar vehicles. The 3.5 engine is zippy and has alot of passing and towing power. Smooth ride and great acceleration. The full time AWD is great but Ive noticed the traction control operates roughly during acceleration from stop on a slippery road. I really like the seats and the driving position, which makes a 5+ hour drive more tolerable. After 75000 miles, the car hasnt had any problems and still drives like new.

I love my sante fe! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By M. Allen - August 29 - 4:03 pmI tried the Tucson and the Sante Fe, and although they are very simular, I prefer the Sante Fe. It rides better than the Tucson and has more room. I just love my Sante Fe and I love driving it. I recommend it to anyone considering getting one.
